I bought one of these for my mom and one for me. I based my purchase on another reviewer who says the product is excellent. I was helping my mother clean and used this stuff on an area of the carpet that had dark colored spots. I do not know what caused the stain or how long it had been there, but since it was in an area not seen often, I think it had been there for a very long time. It did the job. Dogs and cats live with me and there are areas on the rugs where accidents have occured. I will be steam-cleaning my carpets soon and look forward to using this product to first get the stains out.
Does this have the same ingredients as OXI Clean?
This product is a safe, non-toxic, odorless, biodegradable and environmentally friendly all-purpose cleaner. It does not contain any bleach or petroleum products. Oxiclean in contrast, has an active ingredient of sodium bicarbonate, which is an adduct of sodium carbonate and hydrogen peroxide. Whereas Oxiclean needs water to get rid of a stain, White Wizard is simply rubbed on the stain and wiped away with a damp cloth.
