It is plastic that you can see through and has elastic to hold it on. I don't have an outside chaise lounge I am using it for my inversiton table. It is perfect for it.

Well made with good quality vinyl at a good price that makes them easier to replace rather than scrub clean.
Works Well
Very happy with this ourchase. I use the clear on the outdoor swing cushions. Swing in under a tree. Tuck these around cushions & put them on frame. Can sit on the cover & all but protected from bird & tree debris.
Vinyl Chaise Cover fits perfect
I think these vinyl chaise covers will do very well during the Winter season outdoors on my 2 chaises. They look good and seem to fit well and the cost of them are very resonable.
