I had been looking for an affordable Himalayan salt crystal when I came across this one. I have been very pleased with it. I keep it near my bed and find that it seems to clean the air at least it smells really clean, and provides a lovely, comforting glow. I had done a lot of research about the Himalayan salt crystals, and mine has lived up to the claims of my research. I cannot emphasize enough the cozy, comforting, pleasant atmosphere the salt crystal provides. Mine stands about 7 high with base, and is probably 5 in diameter. I think this size is for a 10' x 10' space. It comes on a fitted wooden base for stability, and has a cord switch. There is easy adult access to the included 15 watt bulb that gently warms the crystal. I do not mean radiant heat of any kind, as I live in Houston where added heat is a dirty word. It simply slightly warms the crystal.The crystal is heavy, so you'll want to put it in a safe place to avoid any falling rock disasters.
