When measuring the back do you measure from the seat cushion or from underneath the cushion?
When measuring the back, you actually measure from the floor to the top of the chair. The slipcover is placed over the wing chair and the seams are lined up with the curves of the chair. Any excess fabric is tucked into the creases inside the wings. An elastic feature fits around the seat cushion and any excess fabric is tucked under the cushion. Inverted folds are created for a smooth fit. Back ties adjust for circumference variations.
